It’s the semi quincentennial (250th) anniversary of the United States
of America and the semicentennial (50th) anniversary of the GGML Community Days.

 

On Sunday, June 28, 2026 the parade will kick off at the Governor Mifflin Middle School, with an assembly time of 3:30pm; and it will conclude at Shillington Park.

 

If you’d like to participate in this parade, we welcome you. We are planning to have floats, walkers, decorated bicycles/scooters/wagons (non-motorized), musical/dance groups, antique tractors, and special vehicles.

 

Consider participating by yourself or as part of an organization. All Governor Mifflin community (Shillington, Mohnton, Kenhorst, Brecknock and Cumru) residents, students of the school district, organizations, and businesses are welcome to participate.

 

There will be prizes given for the best decorated bicycles/scooters/wagons (non-motorized) across various age groups.
